I wasn't able to say good-bye to my grandmother on the day she died.....I was working and had
to hold all my emotions in....till I closed my office doors that night...knowing in my heart she was gone....could I then sink to the floor and cry to myself~

I lost an amazing person in my life....I take her flowers every chance I get.....I lay next to her on the grass...looking up at the blue skys...I know she is w/god smiling down at me....forever by my side....forever feeling her love in my heart...I miss you...I miss you everyday grandma~

I look at my daughter Nastasya.....and know that she has a part of you living inside of her...the best part....the part that is unconditional..... unwavering..... I miss you...a year ago this time....I was in Paris....trying to forget the heartache......of losing you, of being betrayed, of wondering why????? I prayed for my heart to be strong......to be strong like you....that in your 80 yrs. of living...of seeing wars...of cruelty...of shame...still standing...with so much grace......you taught me so much.

Today....My heart is strong..wishing I could hear you laugh, in my mothers laughter...I hear you....your words...your advice...and mostly........your love...telling me.....CHIA-CHIA ~ HAO AI NEE...

Crazy how life is.....its been beyond busy and I can't even keep up!!! Its already JUNE 2011...holy shit!!! Aiya...can you believe already half the year and now??? I shot out of 2010 to 2011 like a race horse......didn't expect to meet a gentleman, had a few laughs, and then some :)

I've had so many blessings this year...thank you!!! I feel I am here to continue these blessings...if there is no love...then what else is left???? Where is the empathy, the compassion, the love?

So lets continue to the next blessing.........I don't know how to explain what is so simple, as I am a simple person at heart, life shows us so much if we at the time could only see and accept...just accept~

Someone said to me today.....when it hurts, its a CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE...how true and in that hurt comes so much GOOD...so much CHANGE FOR YOU...just a matter of can you SEE IT...SEE IT!!!

Was just at the champs-elysees yesterday...Musee de Armee.....Musee de Louvre today......Musee de Orsay tomorrow....hmmm and the Tuileries garden...maybe, then more shopping...thank u god for all these blessings :)

Everyday is a new adventure...i love the smells...the metro (even though i suck @ it, haha)...the food...WOW...the shopping is beyond fabulous....I just LOVE paris....the different districts from the 1/2 of high scale shopping to the 3/4 new fashion/art/gay community....loved the 6/7 of ritzy furniture boutiques and pricey boutiques ( Kanye West @ Balenciaga w/VanNess Wu )....to the 8 district of wonderful cafes ( La Societe ).....so yummy, dinner while a DJ is spinning, and bringing it back to the bohochic vibe of the 10/11.....where I currently reside in an awesome house for the next few weeks :)

Sooooooooooooo much more to explore.....nightlife, eiffel tower, notre dame ( i know so touristy...) met a cool chic @ the Christian Louboutin store...a few local designer shops to check out, who knows........who knows.......just extremely grateful and excited about life again...its taught me to always keep going.....the possibilites?!?

Love my new shoes.....every girl should have a pair......i fell in love the moment i put them on!!!

Today I lost an amazing person that has been in my life since the day I was born.....her love was always unwavering, kind, fair, and tough at times but it came from a place that was wanting the very best for me.

My grandmother lost her battle w/cancer today, so now she is with god....where I will see her again and hear that wonderful laughter of hers....that cackling...hee-hee-hee laughter, when she and I were gossiping about things that are just so silly....I will forever miss her and the way she'd tell you how much she loved you just by looking at you with those eyes.....the last time she trully looked at me was when I did her makeup for her 80th birthday, she was SO HAPPY.....SO HAPPY.....

Only my grandma could ROCK the hot pink and red lipstick all day any day and look SMASHING.......I will always be better because of you, I thank u, I thank god for blessing me w/you....she is...was...and always will be AMAZING!!!!!

Where has my motivation gone.....this year is stressful on all levels, each time I go my way....Iºve got to fill the gaps of another and its just so damn tiring...what are you trying to teach me....Iºve never felt so much anxiety and stress as Iºve felt this year.........thank god its july and the weather is hot so I can go to the beach and not think at all!!!

I was really sad when my aunt past last year from cancer.....my worst fear isn't dying, failing, but losing the ones I love.....my heart would not recover....so when my mom started not feeling well and dreaming of my aunt...it was a sign to get her checked out....my aunt is a guardian angel....my mom has pre-cancer cells and will be undergoing surgery to remove it in a few weeks........we have a love/hate relationship but at the end of the day...she's my mom and she just wants me to be happy and I just want her to be happy......I couldn't imagine not having my loved ones with me in this lifetime...for the ups and downs....the laughter and heartbreaks. All my old friends love my family, we are the wackiest....blended....emotional....strongest unit....blessed by GOD but most importantly....my MOM!!! The love in her heart is endless.....

Well......january flew right by and it was definitely a family affair, with events, prayers, and chinese freakin new years, hahahaha...........happy "OX" year....2009 !!! I've decided to work a little less in the family business, spend more time w/my baby girl, and take more makeup jobs, which I was totally happy to do the phototshoot for MODERN BLEND DENIM....which is launching in bloomingdales and SAKS....hmm, these jeans make my butt look NICE.....reading alot lately and wanting more "ME" time....last year was exhausting :)

OH me....OH my.....it sure has been a very eventful year for me.....2009 is just around the corner and I can't wait....for new adventures...new opportunities...and getting older, I know..I know..older??? HAHAHAHA

At a stand still in life sometimes......I look back to what I was...who i want to be and ponder am I happy w/me now, so vague yet so simple....what I was then ( a head strong...fearless....crazy girl ) kinda miss that sometimes but it was very unhealthy, just a phase we all have to go through to find out what we're really made of...what I want to be ( successful....not just the finance part but...actually as a human being ) stupid...maybe but I still believe in humanity....and the NOW....at a crossroad in my life...at times I feel I don't know if I can do motherhood...career...all rolled into one big pile of CHAOS.......its the conflict from within....am I giving her all that she needs...her meaning my baby girl-

NaNa and I had our annual X-Mas photoshoot...........she is the superstar of my life!!!

Three years in a row I've been working concerts in tokyo and I love it beyond words....from Tokyo, to Yokohama, to Osaka...........to shopping and eating like a PIG was sheer BLISS.......xoxo

I love traveling but I love working and traveling with my family even MORE>.....from rehersals at the Nippon Budokan...where the Beatles played...to working backstage, under the stage...to goofing off w/old colleagues...to meeting MR. MURAKAMI.....of the Louis Vutton Cherry bags....was awesome....but watching my brother VanNess Wu rock the stage w/F4......was incredible...a decade !!!

After the show wrapped......it was bizarre...went back to working in the family business.......Skincare/Medi-Spa and doing makeup jobs on the side....all the while preparing for working in Tokyo for the F4 Japan TOUR!!! I'm not really a fashion makeup artist......more like an events freelance makeup artist and I love it but I can do any type of makeup you throw at me, all makeup artists are passionate about different things but it started all the same somwhere deep inside. I LOVE PEOPLE....something about connecting......xoxo

Up until now......I've often wondered why my life is the way that it is....things just kind of fall into place whether its something I really want or not-

I get a phone call from my sister Wendy...who works for Diesel and told me there was some reality TV show about makeup and that I should go check it out.......HAHAHA...my first reaction was...NO!!! After some serious pushing on her part....i said okay and went to the last open call on Hollywood Blvd., still a bit hung over from the night before :)

I was pushed to the next step...then next...then the phone call....YOUR ONE OF THE TWELVE, was I excited??? I think all my friends and family were but me...a bit nervous, what had I gotten myself into.........SHIT!!

I can only say.......REALITY TV...is an interesting ride and along the way......I made some wonderful friends that I adore!!!
